Dava Guerin, Senior Contributor, is a successful and respected leader in the fields of marketing communications and public relations. She served as president of Guerin Public Relations for more than 25 years. During that time, she worked with numerous national and international Fortune 500 companies and professional sports teams, assisting them with media relations, product launches, executive communications, crisis management, community relations and more.
Her many clients have included the Philadelphia Eagles, Comcast Corporation, Tasty Baking Company; Dietz & Watson, H.J. Heinz, Rohm & Haas Company, WXPN Radio, World Café Live, The City of Philadelphia, Welcome America, among others.
She worked with many U.S. Presidents, and managed visits for world leaders, U.S. politicians and entertainers. She also worked with former First Lady Barbara Bush with the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, and helped her relaunch the popular ABC Radio Network show, Mrs. Bush’s Story Time.
Dava is the co-author of numerous books focusing on the resilient stories of wounded warriors, and also co-authored two memoirs with former U.S. Congressman Bob Clement (D-TN); and Mike Hardwick, CEO of Churchill Mortgage Corporation.
She has a Masters degree in organizational behavior from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Goddard College.

Melissa, the President and founder of M. NICHOLS Communications, is a highly experienced marketing and public relations professional.
A graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, Melissa has worked in a senior public relations management capacity for such companies as Comcast, SunCom Wireless, and Verizon.
She founded M. NICHOLS in 2004, where she has spearheaded communications and marketing programs for a wide variety of business-to-business, non-profit and business-to-consumer clients ever since.
Jennifer Carney, Vice President and Group Director, has worked for major public relations firms such as Edelman Worldwide and Shandwick Public Affairs in Washington, DC, providing strategic communications and editorial services for corporate, association, and nonprofit clients.
An expert strategist, communicator and media relations specialist, she joined the M. NICHOLS Communications team in 2009 where she has supported a variety of manufacturing and non-profit clients. She holds a degree in Journalism from the College of Communications at Penn State.
Sherrie Walters, Vice President and Group Director, is a marketing and advertising veteran having held management positions at various wireless, cable, satellite, media companies and a digital advertising agency supporting the pharmaceutical industry. She is a marketing communications leader experienced in targeting both B-to-C and B-to-B customers with integrated marketing communications expertise that includes branding, digital, direct marketing, collateral, print and more.
As a consultant at Comcast, she launched the company’s XFINITY WiFi and XFINITY On Campus services along with the XFINITY TV and Mobile apps in addition to elevating and rebranding the multiple dwelling unit channel to XFINITY Communities.
Lauren Stern has a diverse background in account services and project management. Her experience includes managing marketing, advertising and direct mail programs for such clients as Alteva, Panasonic, Olympus, and British Telecommunications. A graduate of The George Washington University, where she earned a BBA Finance degree, she also has worked as a financial analyst and staff accountant for Philadelphia area organizations such as Devon Direct, Inc., Peterson Consulting Limited Partnership and Community Rehabilitation Management.
